Votel CRM: what it is and how it works.
The contact, pipeline and conversation layer inside Votel AI, and how its AI agents and workflows use it.
Votel CRM is the customer relationship management layer built into Votel AI (Votel.ai). It is the central record for contacts and leads, tying together conversations, pipeline stages, tasks, notes, tags, appointments, form submissions and workflow activity. It is not a separate product. It is one connected layer of the platform.
What Votel CRM manages
| Area | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Contacts and leads | Names, contact details, custom fields, tags, notes and activity history |
| Pipelines and opportunities | Lead stages, sales progress, ownership and the next action |
| Conversations | Customer communication and context across connected channels |
| Tasks and follow-up | Assigned work, reminders, workflow actions and human handoffs |
| Connected intake | Forms, appointments, AI-agent data and other customer events saved to the record |
Why the CRM and the AI agents share one record
A form submission can create or update a contact. An AI agent can collect information in a conversation and save it to that record. A workflow can then move the opportunity, assign a task, send follow-up or notify a person. Because those actions use the same CRM data, you do not have to stitch a separate contact database onto the AI agent. The broader picture is in What is Votel AI?.
What to test before you rely on it
- Pick one real lead path, from a form or call to a booked appointment.
- Confirm the agent saves the right details to the contact record.
- Check that the pipeline stage and tasks update the way your team expects.
- Test a human handoff, so a person can see the full conversation history.
- Check the integrations and channels your market needs.
You can run all of this in the 14-day trial. See the new-account setup checklist and the AI receptionist playbook for a concrete first build.
Votel CRM and HighLevel
If you are coming from GoHighLevel (GHL), do not assume contacts, pipelines and workflows behave identically. Similar names do not establish compatibility, so plan the move with the migration checklist and see MoveOver for what the migration tool exports. For the decision itself, use the Votel vs GoHighLevel (GHL) comparison hub.
Votel CRM: common questions
What is Votel CRM?
Votel CRM is the customer relationship management layer built into Votel AI (Votel.ai). It is the central record for contacts and leads, connecting their conversations, pipeline stages, tasks, notes, tags, appointments, form submissions and workflow activity.
Is Votel CRM a separate product from Votel AI?
No. It is one connected layer inside the Votel.ai platform, alongside AI agents, workflows, websites, forms, calendars and messaging. You do not buy or connect it separately.
Does Votel CRM have pipelines?
Yes. Votel includes pipelines and opportunities for lead stages, sales progress, ownership and the next action. Confirm the current feature set inside your own account.
How do AI agents use the Votel CRM?
An agent can collect details during a conversation and save them to the contact record. A workflow can then move the opportunity, assign a task, send follow-up or notify a person, all against the same CRM data.
Is Votel CRM the same as HighLevel's CRM?
No. HighLevel has its own CRM, and similar feature names do not guarantee identical behavior. Check any workflow you plan to move, and use the Votel vs GoHighLevel (GHL) comparison hub for the decision.
How much does Votel CRM cost?
The CRM is part of the Votel plans, not a separate price. Votel.ai publishes Pro at $97 per month and Unlimited Agency Pro at $297 per month, and offers a 14-day trial. Usage such as phone, text, email and AI credits is billed as used.
