The short version: we collect your email when you ask for something, we send you that thing and updates to it, we do not sell anything, and you can leave whenever you like.
allthingsvotel.com is operated by Unleashed Labs Inc, Côte-Saint-Luc, Québec, Canada. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers the site and the MoveOver browser extension (section 3). Your Website Report is a separate platform. Account creation takes place on yourwebsite.report under the privacy information provided there.
Opt-in, access, and claim forms. When you request the Workflow Poster, enter your email to open the affiliate guide vault, or submit a MoveOver access claim, we collect your email address, the page and placement you submitted from, the time, and your IP address and browser user agent. That is all those forms ask for. When you open the poster download link we emailed you, we record that it was opened, when, and from which IP address and browser.
Contact form. Name, email address, the reason you chose, and your message.
Short-link clicks. When you follow an affiliate link that routes through our domain (for example allthingsvotel.com/votel), the redirect records the link slug, the placement tag in the URL, the time, the referring page, and a truncated, non-reversible form of your IP address and browser user agent. It does not set a cookie and does not know who you are.
Browser storage. The site uses localStorage and sessionStorage to remember that you already requested the poster, unlocked the affiliate guide vault, or dismissed the popup, so it does not ask again. The stored copy stays in your browser; the email you submit through a form is sent to us as described above.
Visitor identification. Every page loads a small script from Votel that gives your browser an anonymous identifier, kept in your browser storage, and records the pages you view against it. If we already have your email address (for example from a form on this site or a link in an email we sent you), Votel can connect those visits to your contact record. The script honours the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals; if your browser sends either one, it does not identify you. Depending on your region it may show a consent banner first, and where it does, a Privacy choices control lets you change your answer later. It also reads the Meta click identifiers (fbc, fbp, fbclid) when they are present on the link that brought you here.
Beyond that, the site does not run advertising trackers. If that changes, this policy will say so.
MoveOver is a licensed Chrome extension that backs up a HighLevel sub-account into a zip on your own computer. This is what it collects and what it does not.
License activation. When you paste your license key into the extension, it checks the key against our server and we record that the key was activated and when. The check returns the email address the key was issued to so the extension can show it to you. We also update your contact in our Votel account to note that you activated, so we can tell people who installed the extension apart from people who only asked for a key.
Export events. Each time an export starts and each time it finishes, the extension sends us one record: the id of the HighLevel sub-account being exported, which categories you picked, how many files came out, how long it took, whether it succeeded, and if it failed, the error message. Our server adds your IP address and browser user agent to that record. We use these to see whether exports actually complete and which categories give people trouble. These records are stored on Supabase alongside the opt-in records above.
What stays on your machine. The extension reads your HighLevel session from the HighLevel tab you have open so it can call HighLevel's API on your behalf. That token stays in your browser for the length of the export and is never sent to us. The exported pages, contacts, workflows and settings go into the zip in your Downloads folder and nowhere else. The extension does not read other tabs, does not run on pages you visit, and does nothing until you click Export.
The Votel card. After an export finishes, the extension may show a card offering a Votel account. That card is Votel's own, not ours. If you type your email into it, Votel receives your email address, the sub-account id, and the list of categories you exported, under Votel's privacy policy. Dismiss the card and nothing is sent to Votel.
Browser storage. The extension keeps your license key and the last sub-account id it saw in Chrome's extension storage on your machine, so you activate once and it remembers where you were. Signing out in the extension clears the key.
Opt-in emails are used to deliver what you asked for (the poster download link, or the MoveOver license key) and to send updates about that same thing, such as a new version of the poster. If you ask for the poster, a free guide or the niche finder, or sign up to the "Why I'm bullish on Votel" series, you will also get up to seven follow-up emails over about a week. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and using it stops the rest of the series. Contact messages are used to reply to you. Click and download records are used to see which placements people follow and whether the poster actually gets opened; IP addresses on opt-ins are kept to spot spam submissions.
Opt-in submissions are stored as a contact in our account on Votel, which also processes the visitor identification and page-view records described above, and in our own records on Supabase; the delivery email and contact-form messages are sent through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel, and the short-link redirect, its click records, and the opt-in and download records run on Supabase. Each of these processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with the affiliate partners we link to; when you click through, the partner's own policy applies from that point.
Opt-in contacts stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, typically under a year. Click records are kept in aggregate; the truncated identifiers are not linked back to a person. MoveOver accounts and their export events are kept while the account exists; ask us to delete your account and we remove it together with the events tied to it.
Under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To exercise any other right, use the contact form; we respond within 30 days. If you are outside Canada, equivalent rights under your local law apply and we honour them the same way.
The site is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted a form, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. The date at the top tells you when. Material changes to how we use opt-in emails will be announced by email to the affected list.
